Petrol price increased by Rs. 6 per litre and Diesel price increased by Rs. 3.67 per litre. Reportedly, in Delhi the cost price of Petrol is Rs. 69.04 and Diesel is Rs. 57.03. This is the highest value after three years when petrol was priced at Rs. 70.33 in 2014 and Rs. 74.06 in May 2017. Reportedly the cost price of petrol in Chennai is Rs. 71.04 on Monday. According to media reports, the change in petrol and diesel price happens fortnightly but the prices have been revised from 16 June every day at 06:00 a.m. as it-instantaneously transfers rates of international oil price to customers.
