Recycling of waste water: Chetpet Eco Park

Chetpet Eco park reportedly the first water body used 50,000 litres of water recycled from sewage for boating and fishing. Lately, only 10,000 litres of sewage water was recycled in the park according to media reports. Officials said that the harmful gas and substances found in the wastewater treatment plant system and it made the water flow into the park very less. Currently, the park is losing its charm, and the number of visitors has reduced.
