The Centre on Monday reportedly told the Supreme Court that people cannot be given another chance to deposit the demonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes. The government reportedly said benami transactions and user proxies to produce and deposit specified bank notes would increase. The departments would have great difficulty in deciding any genuine case from the many bogus ones, the Centre further reportedly stated.
