To keep women in the safe zone, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah on Monday announced that 51 new pink Hoysalas(patrol vehicle for women complaints) would be added to Bengaluru's police patrolling system. The CM also said that exclusive women patrolling staff would be included in each police station. Notably, the state has just 20 all-women police stations as against Tamil Nadu's 200 police stations dedicated to women.
