Navya Nair was noticed in Azhagiya theeye. The film was big hit and her performance was appreciated. Yet, she did not have many releases in Tamil thereafter. After a gap, she was

recently seen in Chidambarathil oru appasamy in which she played opposite Thangar Bachan as the mother of two children. Once again, her acting talent has come in for acclaim. Yet it has not translated into more projects. What is the reason? Her very high rates for Tamil. She demands Rs.20 lakhs for a film here while she accepts only Rs. 5 lakhs in Malayalam.
