A film on racial discrimination
September 17, 2009

Veteran movie maker Mahesh Bhatt plans to produce a film based on the racial discrimination against Indians in Australia. Director Mohit Suri has been signed up to direct this venture, which will be filmed in Australia next year. Emraan Hashmi will play the lead role in this yet-to-be-named film.

The director, it is expected, will visit Australia in the near future to investigate on the racial discrimination prevalent in that country and also get details from the victims. Speaking to the media, Suri said, “We are not attempting to demonize or victimize anyone with this film. We are just trying to present the facts as they are.”
