Sources in Bollywood say that Vipul Shah is planning a sequel to the blockbuster hit Singh Is Kinng. While Anees Bazmee had wielded the megaphone for Singh Is Kinng, Vipul intends to direct the sequel himself.

Akshay Kumar could play the lead role; however, the other cast and crew may change. Vipul is currently busy with two of his ventures – London Dreams and Action Replay – and is expected to commence the sequel after his present commitments are over. Akshay, on the other hand, has his own projects to be completed, so one is not sure when the sequel will actually take off.
