Shaam’s popularity is on
the rise ever since the Telugu film
Kick hit the screens. The actor’s
role in Kick – that of a police
officer – received rave accolades.
With the film’s success reaching
the hilt, director Jayam Raja had
decided to remake it in Tamil. While
his brother, actor Jayam Ravi, has
been signed up to play the lead
role, the production house was negotiating
with Shaam to take up the role he
portrayed so beautifully in the
Telugu version. The latest buzz
is that Shaam had agreed to don
the greasepaint once again and this
time his role has been increased
significantly to give him the mileage
he deserves.
Tamanna has been roped in to play
the female lead in the film, sources
say.
