Aamir Khan had reportedly advised
film producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra to
file a defamation case against novelist
Chetan Bhagat. Aamir’s latest
release 3 Idiots was earlier said
to be based on Chetan Bhagat’s
Five Point Someone. However, the film’s
director Rajkumar Hirani and scriptwriter
Abhijat Joshi made changes in the
script and the entire storyline has
changed.
Aamir’s advice to the 3 Idiots
producer came in the wake of Chetan
Bhagat alleging that he was not given
due credit. Reacting to this, Bhagat
told the PTI, “For the past
two years I have trusted Hirani, Vidhu
Vinod Chopra and Aamir blindly and
this is what I get in return. Now
I am being threatened with legal action
but I am ready for it.” |
