Saif Ali Khan admitted to ICU of Leelavati hospital

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has been admitted to the Leelavati Hospital in Mumbai at around 9.30 p.m. on Sunday. According to earliest reports he is in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. He was rushed to hospital after he complained of chest pain. Further details about his illness are not yet available.

Saif had been through a hectic 7 days prior to this, flying abroad for shooting, coming back to attend the premier and release of Eklavya before attending the rehearsals for a forthcoming awards function. It was during the rehearsal that he felt the pain in his chest. His sister Soha Ali Khan who was present there took him immediately to the hospital.
Saif has never had any such problems previously and this sudden incident has shocked family, friends and the film industry alike. Just an hour or so after he was admitted to the hospital actors Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Preity Zinta arrived at the hospital to meet him. The current status of Saif has not been released by hospital sources. One hopes that it is not serious. We shall keep you informed about his recovery.
