Shekhar
Kapur has confirmed that he is making a film
based on the life of the English explorer George
Herbert Leigh Mallory. Hollywood film star Julia
Roberts and film-maker Kevin Townsend will produce
his venture. There have been rumors about this
project and Shekhar, who is in Cannes for the
film festival, declared that it is indeed true
putting to rest all the speculations surrounding
it.
Kapur reportedly said, “I find it very
exciting to be doing this as it’s a fantastic
story.”
