Notwithstanding
the fact that the Indian Premier League is surrounded
by controversies, ace filmmaker Karan Johar
has decided to go ahead with the hosting of
the IPL awards event. The director-producer
was signed to host the event even before the
controversy emerged and when asked what his
stance was in the issue, given the turn of events;
Karan had said that he is ‘totally hosting
it.’
He maintains that IPL is one of the prestigious
brands in the entertainment industry.
