Mobile Azhagiya Thamizh Magan is a unique attempt
by Vijay Television. The search for the ideal
Tamil man will become an eye-catching sensation
among the television viewers for shows aligned
to females have always dominated the Television
channels. Vijay TV’s Azhagiya Thamizh
Magan is unique and special, as it is the hunt
for the perfect man of Tamil Nadu. Aptly named
Azhagiya Thamizh Magan, the show is a fun-filled
talent hunt which has many potential young men
fight for the most coveted title.
Thousands of eligibility bachelors had applied
to participate in this show and 200 deserving
contestants were short-listed after the initial
ground auditions. The ‘Thamizh Magans’
were given a very warm welcome in a traditional
style and the judges for the first level of
auditions were TV personalities DD, Divya, Priya
and playback singer Suvi Suresh. Also Sivakarthikeyan,
Michael, Mani and Craig served as the Judges.
The contestants’ talents were also evaluated
by the secret judges – Dr. Shalini, Satya
Stephen and Meena Kandaswamy. In the end, 28
deserving Tamil men moved to the next competitive
round of Azhagiya Thamizh Magan.
The short-listed contestants would be grouped
as Cheras, Cholas and the Pandiyas. Dressed
like Kings, the contestants are to arrive on
horses and elephants in the complete attire
of royalty. The special guest on this week’s
Azhagiya Thamizh Magan would be the gorgeous
actress Sneha. She would post witty questions
to the contestants who would be judged based
on their replies.
With week on week eliminations, and Ramya as
its hostess along with Kushbhoo at the show’s
helm, Poorvika Mobile Azhagiya Thamizh Magan
would go on air every Friday & Saturday
from April 23 & 24, 2010, 8pm on Vijay TV.
