“Nobody believed me when I said I did the music, not even Amitabh Bachchan”

Perarasu directed Thiruthani’s audio was released on Sunday at Kamala Theater, Chennai, in the presence of director K Bhagyaraj, SA Chandrasekar and President of Theater Owner’s Association Mr. Paneerselvam.

Speaking on the occasion, SA Chandrasekar said, “I know the difficulties this film faced. So I’m happy for Perarasu that distributors have come forward to release this film.”

Paneerselvam expressed his concern over small films that don’t fair well. He said, “We are facing pressure when it comes to making a small film run. Many good small budget films are being released at the wrong time. That’s why they bomb at the box office. All the unions must come together in deciding on such issues to avoid the heavy losses for the theater owners and the producers.”

K Bhagyaraj appreciated Perarasu for his new leg as a music director. “This film reminds me of my own film Idhu Namma Aalu. When I said I did the music for that film, nobody believed me, not even Amitabh Bachchan. He accepted that I did the music, only after he heard me sing,” said Bhagyaraj. He also praised the music and lyrics in Thiruthani and wished the team good luck.
