V.Z.Dhorai to direct a web series starring Aruvi fame Shwetha

Director V.Z.Dhorai, who is known for his directorial ventures like Mugavari, Nepaali, 6 Mezhuguvathigal, recently had his film, Yemaali released. Post that, the director has now jumped into the digital platform and his next outing will be an interesting web series. This web series will star, Shwetha Shekar in the lead role, the girl who played Aditi Balan's college friend in Aruvi.
 

Shwetha announced this news with her Facebook post, which said, "With the director of Mugavari, 6 candles, Nepali and many many more!!! Shooting as his lead for his Hindi web series!!! A lovely human to work with.
 

Plus I think I was more than destined to work on this project! He penned this script in Jan and I happened to meet him last week and when I started reading the script I realised he had already named my character Shwetha way before we even knew I would be acting as her!!!#namesake #lovemylife #filmindustry"

V.Z.Dhorai's Yemaali censored with A certificate

Athulya Ravi, the Kadhal Kan Kattudhe girl, took everyone by surprise with her new makeover in her second film, Yemaali, directed by V.Z.Dhorai. The talented director made his debut through Ajith's Mugavari, who went on to do films like Kadhal Sadugudu, Thotti Jaya, Nepaali, and 6.
 

Now, the latest official information is that Yemaali has cleared the censor test with an, 'A' certificate, and is all set to hit the screens on February 2. Going by the teaser and trailer of the film, Yemaali seems to take up an intense and complex relationship issue on the hand. Apparently, the film has four different layers in its screenplay, which is believed to be an important USP of the film.


Yemaali will be the first 'A' certified Tamil film of 2018, which stars Samuthirakani, Athulya Ravi, debutant Sam Jones, Roshni Prakash,  Balasaravanan, Singampuli, and others.
