Popular actor Mohan Raman's daughter Vidyulekha Raman made her Kollywood debut with Gautham Vasudev Menon's Neethane En Ponvasantham. She went on to do many interesting films including Jilla, Veeram, Inimey Ippadithan, Kaaki Sattai, Vedalam, Puli,and few others.

She was also part of Telugu biggies such as Bhaagamathie, Sarrainodu, Dhruva, Ninnu Kori, Tholi Prema, Chi La Sow, and the recent Savyasachi.
 

Through her recent tweet, Vidyu revealed that she met ace director Mani Ratnam in person. When Behindwoods got in touch with her to know more about the meet up, she opened up with a delight, by saying,"I met Mani Ratnam sir in a public gathering event. It was a memorable experience. For a man of his stature, I thought he would be a man of few words, but he enquired a lot about me and my projects.

He also appreciated my work in the recent Telugu films and wished me the best. I did not expect him to talk so much and it was so nice of him to discuss about my projects."
