We all know that the character Nesamani from the Siddique-directed 2001 Tamil film Friends is a frustrated soul who has literally reached his breaking point due to his incompetent employees, particularly his apprentices (or appracenti, as he likes to call it). Prayers from social media and the hashtag Pray for Nesamani has been trending recently. But do you know, Nesamani is not the only person to get hurt by the hammer.

Vadivelu's Nesamani role was done by Jagathy Sreekumar and Brahmandam in Malayalam and Telugu

Friends was made in three South Indian languages, namely Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. The original Malayalam version stars Jayaram, Mukesh and Sreenivasan while in the Telugu version, titled Snehamante Idera, the lead roles are reprised by Nagarjuna, Sudhakar and Sumanth.

In the original, the contractor was played by veteran Malayalam actor Jagathy Sreekumar and the role's name is Chackachamparambil Lasar while in Telugu, the role is reprised by Brahmanandam, named as Bhavani Shankar. So three innocent contractors have their heads swollen, for the price of one, due to their nephews. Tell us about your favourite out of the three wounded greats.
