SUCCESSFUL FILM GETS A SEQUEL! UDHAYANIDHI CONFIRMS!

Udhayanidhi Stalin, who debuted as a lead actor with Oru Kal Oru Kannadi has been creating a niche for himself as an actor ever since his Manithan with director I.Ahmed. The actor, in an exclusive conversation with Behindwoods, shares about the possibilities of a second part to the courtroom drama. Udhayanidhi said:

“After Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, when I did Manithan, I knew it would be my career best till then. I must say the main reasons are director I.Ahmed, Prakash Raj sir and cinematographer Madhie. The reviews and the feedback that I got after Manithan were excellent and it gave me belief that I am also an artist and I can pull off a character. Next year, there are plans of Manithan 2 with the same team of Ahmed, Hansika etc. However, it will not be the same script as Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 as that had a touch on terrorism which would not be appropriate here. We will choose a sensitive topic and the script work is underway. The process and work related to Manithan 2 are happening.”
