Dev, directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar has Karthi playing the lead alongside Rakul Preet. The film’s music had been composed by Harris Jayaraj, and the songs which were recently released, have been received well by the audience.
Meanwhile, the latest update is that the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the film have been acquired by Murali Cine Arts, and the movie will be out this February. It is speculated that the movie will be having a February 14th release, marking the occasion of Valentine's Day.
Dev also stars Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Amrutha Srinivasan and RJ Vigneshkanth in crucial roles. The project is bankrolled by Prince Pictures, and has cinematography by R.Velraj.
