Vishal's Sandakozhi 2, directed by Lingusamy, and produced by Vishal Film Factory, is fast progressing, and the makers have planned to release the film for Tamil New Year on April 14.
Meanwhile, our close sources inform that the theatrical rights of the Hindi dubbed version of the film has been bagged for a whopping amount of Rs.8 crore. The film, also starring Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Sandakozhi 2, starring Vishal, is the sequel to his superhit film Sandakozhi. Slated for a Tamil New Year release (April 14), the film will have teaser launch during the Natchathira Kalaivizha (January 6).
The most recent announcement about the film is that its audio rights have been bagged by Sony Music. This will ensure a big reach for Sandakozhi 2's music.
