We had earlier reported that Samantha will be starring in the remake of the critically acclaimed Kannada film, U Turn. The film is directed by Pawan Kumar, who also helmed the original. Rahul Ravindran will be seen playing the role of Samantha's boyfriend in the film.

The latest update is that the shooting for this crime thriller has begun in the outskirts of Chennai. As in the original, a flyover will be the center of attraction in this film too, and they will be filming on the outskirts of Hyderabad as well.

Samantha plays a journalist in this remake. The details about the rest of the crew are yet to be out and can be expected very soon. Stay tuned!
