Earlier in February 2017, an IT employee from Chennai, Tashwanth became the prime suspect in a case relating to the brutal abuse and murder of a 7-year-old child in Mugalivakkam. He is in the news again today because, after almost seven months of imprisonment, the young accused gets his bail.


Reacting to this, actress and director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has lashed out with anger on her Twitter page. She said, "7 year old #hasini 's brutal abuse & murder forgotten? Few months of imprisonment & bail for the ..... ?! What is use in staging protests?", "IF THE accused in brutal abuse and murder of 7 year old #hasini gets a bail?! What is India for women & children ?!@PMOIndia @SushmaSwaraj".
