Harris Jayaraj has composed music for most of the films directed by KV Anand such as Ayan, Ko, Mattran, Anegan, Kavan and Kaappaan.
Most of the films made under KV Anand’s direction were hits and the songs of his films were also super hits. Harris Jayaraj has posted a heartfelt tweet on the demise of KV Anand.
In his tweet, Harris Jayaraj said, “unfortunate and extremely shock to hear this devastating News. RIP my friend KV Anand.” (sic)

KV Anand began his career in films as a cinematographer with his debut being Thenmavin Kombath in Malayalam and later turned to direction. Kana Kanden was his first directorial venture. KV Anand's last outing was 'Kaappaan' with Suriya, Arya, and Sayesshaa in the lead roles. The film was bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
