In a tragic incident on Friday early morning, Kollywood’s talented cinematographer and acclaimed director KV Anand passed away after suffering a heart attack. This unexpected loss has been a great shock to the entire film fraternity.
KV Anand began his career in films as a cinematographer with his debut being Thenmavin Kombath in Malayalam and later turned to direction. Kana Kanden was his first directorial venture. KV Anand's last outing was 'Kaappaan' with Suriya, Arya, and Sayesshaa in the lead roles. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Harish Jayaraj scored the music for the film.
