The pirated video of Goli Soda 2 had released online, just hours after the film released. The makers of the film to quick steps in order to ensure that the people who were involved in this crime were arrested. Mr. Ghazali M, the director and producer of the film Manushana Nee, was instrumental in getting this job done.

Talking exclusively to Behindwoods, he explained how the criminals were caught and the theatre was shut down. He said "This is an elaborate process. The team first downloaded the pirated video and put it in a DVD. This DVD was submitted to QUBE after paying a certain sum of money. Once this happens, QUBE reveals the location, time and date on which the movie was uploaded. Through this, we tracked down the theatre that was in Krishnagiri."

Adding on about the next course of action, "This information was presented to the Superintendent of Police of the Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Cell. The whole state of Tamil Nadu is divided into 12 sections. Nayanthara Theatre in Krishnagiri, which leaked the video, falls under Vellore section. So, a team of Police Officers and members from the producer's side went to Krishnagiri and ensured that the offenders were arrested and the theatre was closed.", said Ghazali.

Ghazali has also been involved in taking action against a few other films like Oru Kuppai Kathai, Mr. Chandramouli, and Tik Tik Tik, to name a few. Goli Soda 2 was directed by SD Vijay Milton and produced by his brother Bharath Seeni.
