Rajinikanth is a legend by himself. Enough said. While everyone more or less knows that Bairavi released in 1976 was the first film of his, whose posters carried the acronym, "Superstar", given to him by then distributor Kalaipuli S Thaanu, the first time it transcended on to the screen was in the 1980 feature Naan Potta Savaal, a cowboy-themed movie which unfortunately bit the dust at the box office. The film was also veteran actor MR Radha's last feature in the industry.
