Atlee last directed the 2019 sports drama ‘Bigil’, which starred Thalapathy Vijay as the lead. The movie received a positive response from the audience and made some huge numbers at the box office as well.

Atlee praises Jyotika - Suriya’s PonMagal Vandhal movie

Meanwhile, Atlee recently took to Twitter to praise the latest Courtroom thriller ‘PonMagal Vandhal’, which stars Jyotika as the lead. A special premiere of the movie had been organized by the makers for industry friends and fellow filmmakers.

Praising the movie, Atlee posted a Tweet that read “#PonmagalVandhalOnPrime strong message emotionally driven movie Kudos to director @fredrickjj #Jyotika Mam @Suriya_offl sir @rparthiepan sir.” He also tagged the technical crew of the film which includes Govind Vasantha, Editor Ruben and others.

'PonMagal Vandhal', directed by J.J. Fredrick also stars Parthiepan, Bhagyaraj, Pandiarajan, Prathap Pothen andThiagarajan playing crucial roles, along with Jyotika. The movie is bankrolled by Suriya and Jyotika under their banner 2D Entertainment and is all set for a digital release on the OTT Platform Amazon Prime Video from the 29th of May.
