Arulnithi explains how he politely says no to some scripts

Arulnithi who eagerly awaits the release of his Brindhavanam was asked in an exclusive conversational interview with Behindwoods about how he rejects scripts that he does not wish to do because he is extremely choosy and selective about his films. To this, Arulnithi said:

I have done offbeat content oriented films right from the start. So when someone narrates something that I don’t generally do, I have to politely say no. To different people I say different answers which would not hurt them. Sometimes I would want to say I don’t like the script but I cannot because it will hurt them. If I do,they will ask me who am I to say this is not a good script. There is nothing like it won’t be suitable for me as the director can mould anyone into any character. If I don’t wish to do a film, I will tell them politely to look for other options so that they won’t have false hopes and hang behind me or follow me. They deserve to do their film and I don’t want to prolong that by keeping the director at bay.
