The ever-changing release date of Karthi's Madras

It has been quite a while since Karthi had a release. But now he comes back with Madras, directed by Ranjith and with hit music by Santhosh Narayanan.

The pre-release buzz for the movie is palpable and though the film has experienced a few release delays, the trade and audience are optimistic about the film hitting the right notes whenever it releases.

The earlier planned release date of August 29 has been postponed and if the internet buzz is to be believed October 2 is the release date which the team is now looking at.

It must be noted there is nothing official or confirmed about this date.
