"We are being lauded for our brave effort" - PRAVEEN GANDHI

Praveen Gandhi, the director who made three notable movies Ratchagan, Jodi and Star is back with his latest directorial Puli Paarvai. The movie was released yesterday on the 14th of November.

 

When Behindwoods spoke to Praveen Gandhi, the director shared few interesting tidbits about the film and its initial response at the theatre.

 

“Being one of the few movies that talked about Eelam issue, we the makers are lauded for our brave effort.”

 

“Though the audience expected a dragging documentary when they stepped into the cinema hall, they found themselves being served a fully cooked masala entertainer like Ghilli.”

 

“The lead actor’s performances are praised unanimously, specifically the lead hero and his kid’s character since it resembles the original reference.”

 

“One love song has been removed from the movie based on audience’s request since it hindered the speedy narration of the movie.”

 

“Actor/director Seeman is said to have watched the movie too and I have received reports that he has enjoyed the movie to the fullest. I am still waiting to catch up with him.”
