After Arrambam, is it going to be 'Alex Pandian' ?
Feb 23, 2014The latest buzz in K-Town is about director Vishnuvardhan being approached by actor Karthi to remake Superstar Rajini's 1982 blockbuster Moondru Mugam. Moondru Mugam is one among Rajini's all-time classic films and he played a triple role in this movie with much aplomb. Who can forget the powerful police offer Alex Pandian, which is a much revered character till date?
Vishnuvardhan recently tasted handsome success with the Ajith - Arya starrer Arrambam and is gearing up to start his next film with Arya and his brother Kreshna. It must be noted that he has already successfully remade Rajini's Billa with Ajith in the lead in 2007.
Reacting to this new buzz on Moondru Mugam's remake, Vishnu expressed how clueless he was about such rumors cropping up. He made it clear that his next would be with Arya and Kreshna, and that he would be co-producing this film along with UTV Motion Pictures. This new film is untitled as yet.
So, Vishnu has made his future plans clear indeed.
