Sasikumar shaves his beard for …

Here’s a surprise… Actor Sasikumar has finally shaved his beard that he has been carrying for a very long time. As requested by director Bala, Sasikumar is going with a clean shaven look and a Chandrababu-esque moustache for their upcoming movie.

 

Bala in fact made Sasi walk through the busy streets of T Nagar and apparently no one recognized him. The other surprise is that Sasikumar has two looks in the movie. However, details about the other look are still unknown.

 

Sasikumar is also working on his body language. If what we are hearing is right, the actor is trying to bring in a pinch of femininity to his character.

 

He is said to play a Nadaswaram expert in this movie, which is reportedly about Karagattam artistes. Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar plays the female lead and there’s scope for another lead actress to play Varalakshmi’s sister, we hear. Hunt is on for this role, we are informed.  

 

Ilayaraja has composed 12 songs for the film until now and the expectations are sky high. After Paradesi, cinematographer Chezhian and editor Kishore will join hands again with Bala for this film.
