Sri Divya's camp makes a much-needed clarification
Sep 12, 2014An important press release has come in from actress Sri Divya which makes it clear that the actress has nothing to do with a recent prostitution controversy, in which the VVS actress' name and pictures were needlessly getting used due to a confusion related to her name.
This is what the press release says
"This is a humble request on behalf of actress Sri Divya.
Before few days, a Telugu actress named Divya Sri was arrested in accordance to allegations of prostitution. However, some of the media channels, especially few online portals, mistook Sri Divya for Divya Sri and published her pictures in the news as well. Therefore, we humbly request you to avoid such confusions in the near future.
Sri Divya shot to fame with her hit film 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' and is now sharing screenspace with Vishnu Vishal in 'Jeeva'"
