Kushboo joins Congress

Kushboo who was an active member of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) till some time back has joined Indian National Congress.

She met the party President Sonia Gandhi accompanied by Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President E V K S Elangovan and General Secretary in-charge of the state Mukul Wasnik.

In an interaction with the media later, the actress said that it was like a home coming for her and that her family has always supported the Congress. She did not want to be drawn into a discussion on DMK or the reasons why she left the party.
