Inam removes scenes

Inam, about the turbulences faced by the displaced Tamils in Sri Lanka, directed by Santosh Sivan hit the screens on 28th March. This film is being distributed by Lingusamy’s Thirrupathi Brothers.

 

In a press statement issued by Lingusamy, he announces that few scenes were deleted owing to requests from Tamil Nadu director’s Association and few Tamil organizations. The scenes are

 

1.       School sequence.

2.       The scene where a Buddhist monk gives a pomegranate to children.

3.       A Sinhalese soldier keeping a picture of a child.

4.       A dialogue which says 'leader is killed'.

5.       The end card which says 38,000 people have been killed.
