I trailer sets a new South Indian benchmark

The trailer of Shankar's 'I' has crossed yet another milestone, the 5 million plus views mark, reportedly becoming the first Tamil / South Indian film to do so. The trailer has already clocked more 'likes' than the teaser which breached the 9 million views mark recently.

Can the trailer go on to match the teaser in terms of view count too? It is highly likely, given the huge wave of interest surrounding 'I'. The film is set for a Pongal release in 2015, in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and we can be assured of one of the biggest ever openings for an Indian film.
