Kaththi - Growing celebrity supporters

Oct 21, 2014
Amidst the problems faced by Kaththi and incidents of violence in certain theaters in Chennai city, many celebrities have shown their resentment towards this issue via their Twitter space. When there is an issue facing them, the film fraternity seems to stand together to fight for it and work out an amicable solution. Twitter has become a common platform to express their stand during problems.

While actress Khusboo tweeted saying "Everytime a film is releasing, some fringe group latches on to it only to be seen and heard as they are aware otherwise no one cares.. Find better jobs"

Madhan Karky echoed his views by saying "
Protests and petrol bombs to stop a movie release. And we say movies are illogical! Hope #Kaththi releases on time"
Actor Prakash Raj has tweeted saying "What is happening to Vijay and Murugadoss' KATHTHI is unfortunate. Whatever the reason. Pls don't mix politics to cinema. Not fair at all"

Actor Mohan Ram had similar views "#Kaththi ... If X threatens a politician. Then politicians house is attacked. What will the police do ? Whom will they suspect/arrest?"
Actress Radhika Sarath Kumar echoed her concern for the safety of public, she tweeted saying "Why are these so-called protesters attacking public places, and holding up a film's release? This is not good"
Any film is made with a lot of effort and hard work, and so is Kaththi, a result of extensive endurance. With the film set to release without any hassles in other states and overseas markets, we hope that the release in Tamil Nadu is also cleared soon enough.
Stay tuned for the latest in this regard.
