''I didn't even meet Andrea'', Anirudh

Anirudh is the new poster boy of the Tamil film music scene and the youngster's fan base is massive, in such a short span of time. He has worked with a number of talented women in his short career so far and when asked to appraise each of them in a recent interview to a Tamil weekly, he was candid and frank in his thoughts.

"Aishwarya Dhanush is really bold to try out a film like 3 as her debut. When it comes to Shruti Haasan, she is multi-talented. The thing with Andrea which impresses me the most, is her ability to sing a variety of styles. My Vanakkam Chennai director Kiruthiga's biggest quality is that she is a very gentle and kind human being"

Recently, Anirudh said that it was Kiruthiga's idea to make him and Andrea croon the Engadi Porandhe song from Vanakkam Chennai, and that he reluctantly agreed. The song has gone on to become a big hit thanks to the lyrics and its cheeky style. Anirudh said that he didn't even meet Andrea during the recording of this song as he was away in Mumbai, mixing the album. Andrea recorded her voice at the studio without Anirudh's supervision.
