Will Singam 2's release get pushed to July?
Jun 09, 2013 Suriya is, as reported, busy promoting Singam 2 in the neighboring states of Andhra and Kerala, and during his visit to Hyderabad, he was accompanied by lead actress Anushka as well. Anushka wasn't present at the Chennai press meet and the audio launch held last week.
Singam 2 would be released as Yamudu 2 in Telugu following the success of the first part, Yamudu. Suriya was happy about his market in Andhra while Anushka honored him for being a good actor and a great co-star.

Meanwhile, the release of the movie might be pushed to July 5 as there is a big Telugu release, Ravi Teja's Balupu, on June 28 and given the fact that the Telugu version of a biggie generally releases along with its Tamil version, such a move is possible.
But there is also a possibility that the Tamil version will release on June 28th while the Telugu dubbed version may release a week later on July 5 after the Balupu wave subsides. The producers, Prince Pictures, need to come out with a clarification on this.
