Thalaivaa is pushing Vaalu further
Apr 08, 2013We have got a status update from Simbu’s Vaalu, directed by Vijay Chander. The climax portions and five song sequences are left to be canned in the movie. In all, another 20 days of filming are scheduled to take place but the Vaalu team is being held up by the absence of Santhanam.
The 'comedy super star' is currently in Australia shooting for Vijay’s Thalaivaa and after he returns, the climax portions of Vaalu would be shot. It seems there is a special comedy sequence featuring Simbu, Hansika and Santhanam in the climax and the director is eagerly waiting for 'Santa' to return back home. These sequences would be canned in a temple.
Vaalu is being planned for an August 15th release as of now after being initially slotted as a Diwali 2012 release.
