Sridevi's Golden Jubilee
Aug 13, 2013One among the evergreen beauties in Indian cinema and a superb actress and dancer, Sridevi turns 50 today. She made a stunning comeback in 2012 with English Vinglish and became the darling of all households again, in double-quick time. The film has been screened all across the world, in a scattered release pattern, and the success story continues everywhere.
In fact, English Vinglish is recognized as the second biggest Bollywood hit in Hong Kong after 3 Idiots. Up next would be countries such as Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.
Recently Sridevi has been proving to the world that she can be as glamorous as ever and some of her photoshoot stills for a prominent magazine, have made jaws drop.
She leads a happy and contented life with her two daughters and husband Boney Kapoor, who attributes her ever-youthful looks to her exercise regimen and strict diet control.
There aren't any extravagant birthday plans and the family just plans to stay home and celebrate quietly.
