Chennai Express is now the biggest of them all
Aug 21, 2013Chennai Express has emerged as the biggest domestic box-office hit in 2013 by breaching the mark set by Ranbir Kapoor's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (190.03 crores net). Now, only two films are ahead of Chennai Express in terms of Indian lifetime collections - Ek Tha Tiger (198.78 crores net) and 3 Idiots (202.47 crores net).
Chennai Express has now netted 192.85 crores in India and it has every chance of emerging as the biggest ever box-office grosser, as it is just a matter of 10 more crores, to break 3 Idiots' mark.
Even now, Chennai Express is attracting more footfalls at theaters than last week's release OUATIMD with the Raksha Bandhan holiday resulting in handsome collections for Chennai Express.
It's time to congratulate the Chennai Express team as they near the elusive 200 crores net mark in India.
