Producer of Nanban, Vasool Raja MBBS found dead
Jul 13, 2013 Ravi Shankar Prasad, Managing Director of Gemini Film Circuit, a leading production house in the South, was found dead at a village near Godavari district. The grand son of legendary film maker, late LV Prasad, has been missing since July 8th. He was last seen before he went for his morning jog from the hotel he was staying in Kakinad.
Ravi Shankar Prasad is also the chairman of Regency Group of Hotels. Under the banner of Gemini Film Circuit, he has produced many successful films including Shankar Dada MBBS, Vasool Raja MBBS, Mayakkam Enna, Nanban, Podaa Podi and few others.
FEFSI has released a press statement that all Tamil film shoots will stay cancelled on Monday, the 15th July, as a mark of respect to Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad.
