Samuthirakani’s Nimirnthu Nil starring Jayam Ravi in the Tamil version has earned itself a new distinction. It is believed that the film will have the longest action sequence ever recorded in Tamil cinema.

The sequence was shot in the Bangalore highway recently and the elaborate stunt choreography will be repeated again with Nani for the Telugu version of the film. Sarath Kumar too was on the sets for this shot and is said to play an important role in the movie.

Nimirnthu Nil has Jayam Ravi playing a dual role, one of a 45 year old man and the other of a 25 year old. Amala Paul is the heroine for the Tamil and Telugu version.
