The craze for Ranbir Kapoor has been on a real high over the past few years and with the blockbuster success of his recent Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, things have just gotten better for this 30 yr old superstar.

At the end of the first weekend, YJHD had netted more than 62 crores and the weekdays continued to be handsome from a business perspective. As a result, YJHD crossed the 100 crore net mark in just over 6 and a half days of its run and at the end of the first week, the movie has netted a whopping 107.61 crores, making it among the biggest ever first week earners in Bollywood history.

The movie is a blockbuster all over the country and is doing equally well at multiplexes as well as single screens. The only films that reached 100 crores net. faster than YJHD were Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2, starring megastar Salman Khan.

YJHD will continue to be a rage in its second week as well, expect trade pundits and the upper limit for its domestic business is anywhere above 150 crores net.
 

It must be noted that Ranbir's previous release, Barfi, was another 100 crores plus success and a critically acclaimed classic as well.
