Greetings for Vijaykanth from Rahul Gandhi
Aug 26, 2013 Vijaykanth celebrated his 61st birthday yesterday (25th August 2013). The actor made his entry into Tamil movies in Inikum Ilamai and later backed it up with his appearance in Agal Vilakku, Neerottam and Dhooraththu Idi Muzhakkam.
The actor turned politician was featured in numerous hit movies such as Sattam Oru Iruttarai, Vetri, Chinna Gounder, En Purushanthaan Enakku Mattumthaan and Ramana He was nicknamed Captain after his appearance in Captain Prabhakaran which was a great success at the box office.
Sabari and Arasangam were Vijaykanth’s last movies after which he became active in politics forming his political party, Desiya Murppokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK). Rahul Gandhi, the Vice President of the Congress party greeted the actor and wished him a happy birthday.
