MAN KILLS PREGNANT WOMAN AND HER TODDLER SON BECAUSE VOICES TOLD HIM TO!

In a horrifying incident, a pregnant woman and her two-year-old son lost their lives after a 33-year-old man reportedly ran them over in Tennessee, US on Monday, reports Times Now.

Cops arrested the accused, William David Phillips, in Jefferson City. He had also injured 2 other people  in the accident. The accused had no prior connection to the victims and had not known them before the attack, police investigations revealed, Fox News reported.

Though the accused confessed, he claimed that he was simply following the orders of a voice that only he could hear.

Phillips first hit 61-year-old Tillman Gunter who was walking down the street. He claimed a voice told him that he "needed to go kill meth addicts" which is why he began "driving very fast," the Knoxville News Sentinel reported.

"He said the voice told him that the baby stroller had meth in it so he intentionally drove into [the mother and child]...killing them both. This act was done with premeditation," the police warrant reportedly said.

The violent spree finally came to an end after Phillips crashed his car into an ornamental fish store. An employee of the store was also injured in the incident.

Cops have charged Phillips with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
