A new cryptocurrency-mining bot called ‘Digimine’ is reportedly spreading fast through Facebook messenger across the world. Reports say, ‘Digimine’ only affects the Messenger’s desktop or web browser (Chrome) version of user’s Facebook account set to log in automatically and manipulates users to send a link to the file to the accounts friends. Notably, it has spread to South Korea, Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Philippines, Thailand, Venezuela and is likely to propagate to other countries soon.
