The launch of 104 satellites at once by India is one of several huge scientific achievements by India in 2017. India’s first womb transplant by Pune doctors, discovery of a galaxy super-cluster Saraswati and winning the Nobel Prize in Physics by a group of Indian scientists who helped in gravitational wave detections, were some other huge achievements of the year.
