Three out of the eight students from a Bengaluru college drowned in the Cauvery river near the Hogenakkal falls on Friday during their trip to the falls in Tamil Nadu, say reports. The deceased were identified as Santosh Kumar (22), Balaji (18), a resident of Kanakapura and Yeshas (18) from Uttarahalli, say reports. Their bodies have been recovered and sent for post-mortem. Police have reportedly filed a case.
